Boil the rice: Wash the rice and put it in a pot. Boil it with 6 cups of water on medium heat until it softens.

Add the seasoning to the pot:
Slowly add the yogurt mixture to the pot. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Once it starts to boil, boil over low heat for another 5-6 minutes.
Add the salt: Add the salt to the boiling soup. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Prepare the oily sauce: Heat the butter and olive oil in a small pan. Add mint (optional chili pepper) and stir for a few seconds.
Serving: Pour the sauce you prepared over the soup. Serve hot.
📝 Tip
Strained yogurt soup thickens as it sits. You can adjust its consistency by adding water if necessary before serving.
Be sure to warm the seasoning before adding it so that the yogurt does not curdle.
